I graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2007 with a joint honours degree in Business & Economics and have worked in various companies such as Google as a Data Analyst, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland as a Programme Coordinator, and Lonely Planet as a Publishing Coordinator.

My interest in coding started in 2015 where I began to wonder how websites and apps were created. I worked my way through Codecademy's HTML, CSS, Javascript courses among others. I fell in love with the constant puzzles I had to solve and the end result of solving that puzzle. I needed to learn more.

In 2017 I completed a BSc in Digital Technology & Design from Dublin Institute of Technology achieving a 1st Class Honours. I not only learned more HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript but I learned about Bootstrap, AngularJS, JQuery, PHP (CodeIgniter), MYSQL, Git and much much more.

Part of my course involved working with an industry partner. My team and I worked with Dublin City Council to create the front-end of a radmap resource for Start Ups in Dublin which detailed how they make a proposal and receive funding. There were 5 members on this team: 2 coders, 2 designers, and 1 PM. This project spanned 3 months between creating the product backlog and prioritising the necessary items for the MVP first. You can see the final result of this work in my Experience section. Dublin City Council have taken this prototype to their teams in-house to develop further and recommended to DIT that we receive full marks for our work.

If I'm not working, or coding, or researching the next Javascript framework, I spend my time with my wife and daughter and dog, playing guitar or playing a variety of sports (golf, soccer, table tennis, squash).
